SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association’s annual Spring Shop & Dine event returns for 2022, providing the local community with a reason to explore the area’s premier shopping and dining destination, while supporting local small businesses and local purchases.
The event is scheduled for 3-7 p.m. Thursday, April 28 in downtown Saratoga Springs.
Two dozen participating establishments will be running incredible deals, in-store raffles for valuable prizes and other promotions throughout the evening.
New this year, DBA cups will be available with qualifying purchases, while supplies last, at participating businesses. Buyers are limited to one cup per person. Eligible purchases vary by company.
A DBA information table will be set up in front of Lifestyles of Saratoga at 436 Broadway throughout the event. Shoppers are encouraged to pick up a “purchase card” at this location or at one of the participating stores, and visit at least ten participating outlets of their choice to get a stamp on their card, no purchase necessary . As the final stage of the event, shoppers can select one of the participating restaurants to turn in their card and receive either a free drink special or a free appetizer or dessert, as a reward, with a minimum of 10 stamps from 10 stores. different.
All completed cards redeemed at participating restaurants will be entered into a draw for a $100 DBA gift certificate. Buyers are limited to one completed card redemption per person. The draw will take place on Tuesday, May 3.
“After a difficult couple of springs, the DBA and its members are thrilled to welcome back the old-fashioned spring,” DBA Chair Deann Devitt said in a press release. “We invite the community to come downtown, check out what’s new in our stores, and end the night relaxing at one of our great downtown restaurants!”
Kirsten Lambert, owner of Tailgate and Party Shop, added, “The annual Spring Business Event, presented by the Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association, allows our retail stores and restaurants to show our appreciation to our residents. The event will feature great in-store specials, restaurant promotions and fun giveaways. We can’t wait to welcome spring and bring the crowds to enjoy our beautiful downtown!
